Lara Baruca ‘Immersed in music’
Minuit Une lights elevate an immersive concert experience in Slovenia:
Lara Baruca, a Slovenian artist celebrating the 25th anniversary of her most popular album, created an audio-visual experience for her audience, titled “Immersed in music”.
The artist, known for her desire to bring cutting edge technologies to the stage, conceived the first immersive audio show in Slovenia, which had to be supported by an equally engaging lighting and visual FX design.
“We saw the Minuit Une presentation at ISE show and immediately knew we had to include this amazing lighting look as a part of our show,” said the artist. The visual team, led by the visual director Den Baruca and lighting designer Gregor Smrdelj, got in touch with the Slovenian Minuit
Une distributor Bahun d.o.o., represented by Miha Bahun, who was extremely supportive.
They incorporated one IVL Photon and 3 IVL Dice units into the design of the show. They were used specific moments of the show, creating either laser beam effects, light planes or any combination of numerous effects these units can provide.
The options were endless, and the units especially excelled at covering a huge amount of space with only 4 units, matching the “immersive” feel of the music also visually.
The team loved the look so much, they implemented 2 IVL Dice units also for the visual effects in Lara’s latest music video for song “Padava”.
