IVL Photon as a visual highlight at the Kasalla end-of-year concerts 2025 at Cologne’s Gloria
8 IVL Photon units were used at the end-of-year concerts of the Cologne band Kasalla at the Gloria Theater in Cologne.
The versatile effect lamps were specifically integrated into the lighting concept and created striking visual accents within the show.
Michael Dellwing was responsible for the lighting design, and the entire system was controlled via a grandMA3 light.
In addition to the IVLs, the Gloria’s house lighting was also integrated into the overall concept. The targeted use of side lights resulted in a perfectly coordinated overall picture.
The IVL Photons were supplied by EventVision as a certified partner and handed over to the production team ready for use. “We also provided a demo unit for pre-production. The IVLs offer a wide range of variations, so you need a certain amount of time to try them out. We are happy to give designers this time by providing units for testing and programming,” reports Lars Geilker from EventVision.
Lighting designer Michael Dellwing specifically integrated the IVL Photon into his design to give Kasalla’s end-of-year concerts a special visual accent. With their eye-catching appearance, flexibility, and impact, the devices in the IVL series were particularly well suited for this type of club show.
